BIRMINGHAM, Ala. ----- The UAB Football Spring Game will be held at the Blazers' practice field this Saturday and the time has been moved to 8:30 a.m.

The change from the afternoon start time at West Campus Field was prompted by the forecast of possible severe weather in the Birmingham area for Saturday.

It had earlier been announced that the UAB National Alumni Society and Blazer Club luncheon which had been scheduled to take place at West Campus Field prior to the spring football game has been cancelled. The pregame luncheon for former athletes and letterwinners has also been cancelled.
