BIRMINGHAM, Ala. ------ Officials for ISP Sports and UAB Athletics have named Citadel Broadcasting Company as the exclusive flagship station for the Blazers ISP Sports Network.

The agreement with Citadel Broadcasting includes all football and basketball broadcasts, as well as the Blazers All-Access call-in show and a limited number of baseball broadcasts.

107.7 FM WUHT will be the home for all UAB football and basketball game broadcasts. Blazer football broadcasts will include a 90-minute pre-game show and a 30-minute post-game show. Blazer basketball broadcasts will include a 30-minute pre-game show and a 30-minute post-game show.

WJOX 100.5 FM will be the home for the Blazers All-Access call-in shows. Blazers All-Access will air live from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Thursday evenings from Full Moon Barbeque in Hoover. Additionally, WSPZ 690 AM will carry ten live UAB baseball broadcasts.

Tony Grillo, General Manager for the Blazers ISP Sports Network, said, "We feel like we've aligned ourselves with some of the very best stations in Birmingham, and we are excited about bringing our fans the additional coverage of UAB sports."

David Crane, Director of Broadcasting for the Blazers ISP Sports Network, said, "We're really excited for the UAB fans because this new agreement will not only add new programming, but it will also make Blazer sports more accessible to everyone in our market."

Brian Mackin, UAB's Director of Athletics, said, "I think this is an exciting move for our program, and I know our fans throughout the Birmingham area will enjoy the expanded coverage of Blazer athletics."

The partnership between the Blazers ISP Sports Network and Citadel Broadcasting will take effect beginning with the first Blazers All-Access broadcast on Thursday, August 23.

WUHT, WJOX and WSPZ join a statewide network that includes WIQR in Montgomery, WTRB in Talladega, and WACT in Tuscaloosa.
