Colleen Duff joined the UAB Athletic Training Department as a Graduate Assistant Athletic Trainer in 2006. At UAB, Duff is responsible for the evaluation and prevention of injuries for the volleyball team, while also providing rehabilitation protocols. In addition, she is in charge of coordinating appropriate referrals and documenting all injuries and rehab protocols. Duff was the Blazers' athletic trainer for their Conference USA Tournament championship in 2006.

Prior to her appointment at UAB, Duff was heavily involved with the undergraduate training program at Michigan State where she worked with the sports of football, men's basketball, women's tennis and men's track & field. While working with the Spartan athletic teams, she was responsible for the evaluation of injuries and provided rehabilitation protocols.

Duff is CPR, AED and First Aid certified and is an Educating Student Trainers In Medicine (E-STIM) member. She has been a member of NATA since 2003 and has been an active participant in Relay for Life for three years. She has also worked several youth camps at both UAB and Michigan State. Duff was board-certified in November of 2006 and is currently working on her master's degree in exercise physiology at UAB.

PERSONAL: Duff is a native of Bloomfield, Mich.
