Rosalind Ervin, Senior Associate Athletics Director/Senior Woman Administrator, is in her 24th year with the UAB Athletics Department and her 13th as an athletic administrator. Ervin oversees all 11 of UAB's women's sport programs as well as the academics center for athletics. She is also responsible for representing UAB on the C-USA administrators' group. Ervin, a Birmingham native, served as Assistant Athletics Director from 1995-97 and prior to that held the position of Athletics Ticket Manager. After graduating from UAB in 1984 with a bachelor of science degree in business management, Ervin became the department's first full-time Assistant Ticket Manager and served in that position until 1989. She is a member of the National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics (NACDA) and the National Association of Collegiate Women Athletic Administrators (NACWAA). PERSONAL: She is married to Jonath Nicholas, an assistant women's basketball coach at St. John's University and a New York native. They have two sons, Courtney, a University of Alabama graduate, and Branden, a UAB graduate. |
