The UAB synchronized swimming team placed sixth last weekend at the Aflac National Sychronized Swimming Championships held at the King County Aquatic Center. The Santa Clara Aquamaids finished first, winning their 13th consecutive title.
The Blazer squad of Morgan Clarke, Frances Halloran, Stephanie Jackson, Stacey Jackson, Megan Kelly, Sara Petrov, Hallie Todd and Amanda Weinstein finished the team event with a score of 93.000. The 2004 Blazers finished fifth with a score of 93.400.
These National Championships mark the end of the 2005 UAB synchronized swimming season.
