The UAB Synchronized Swimming team will open its season Thursday with an exhibition at Bell Aquatics Center at 7 pm.

The exhibition, which is titled "Power. Precision. Perfection!", will include three team routines, two trios, three duets and one solo. It will feature five seniors from the inaugural squad and three athletes that have qualified for the final phase of the Olympic Trials.

Following the event, the team will be available to sign posters.

The Blazers' first competition will be at the University of Florida meet on Dec. 18 in Gainesville, Fla.
