2001-2002 SEASON: second place in high jump with a 1.64-meter jump at Snowbird InvitationalÉ.jumped 1.70 meters for second place, after an 11-jump jump-off at Alabama RelaysÉ.tied for fourth place in the high jump with a 1.50-meter mark at the Auburn Invitational.
2000-2001 SEASON: Spent most of the season nursing a back injury....finished first in the high jump at the Purdue 5-Way (Feb. 17) with a 5’7.75 effort....placed second at the Conference USA Indoor Championship (Feb. 23-24) in the high jump with a 5’06 jump....jumped a 5’06 at the Big Cat Classic (Mar. 31) to take second place....finished third in the high jump at the Alabama Relays (Mar. 22-25) and the Snowbird Invitational (Mar. 16-17). 1999-2000 SEASON: Hit personal outdoor record in high jump with a 5’10.5” at the Sea Ray Relays (April 12-15) to finish in second and hit an NCAA Provisional Qualifying mark....placed first in the high jump with a 5’8” at the FSU Relays (Mar. 15-18)....also finished in second in the high jump at the Troy State Invitational (April 8/5’8.5”)....)ran the 400 meters for the first time ever at the Alabama Relays (Mar.23-26) and finished with a time of 63.44....jumped with an injured foot and hit 5’6.5” mark in high jump at the Conference USA Championships (May 11-13) to finish fourth.... placed fourth in the high jump at East Tennessee State Sprint Invitational, with a 5’7.25” effort.... earned her first collegiate victory with a 5’8.0” jump at the Indiana Invitational....finished second at the Purdue Three-Way meet with a 5’7.0” effort...finished second at the C-USA Indoor Championships with an NCAA provisional-qualifying and new UAB record 5’9.75” (a mark that ranked 34th in the nation). 1998-1999 SEASON: Broke UAB indoor record for high jump at 5’8.5” at Virginia Tech Invitational, finishing second overall .…missed qualifying for NCAA Championships by 2.25”....placed fourth at the C-USA Indoor Championship and never placed lower than fourth all season...sat out the 1999 outdoor season as a redshirt....broke UAB and UAB freshman indoor records.... also broke UAB freshman outdoor record in the one outdoor meet in which she participated. HIGH SCHOOL: Set Alabama state record in high jump (5’7-1/2”) while at Boaz High School.…undefeated in high-jump competition during high school….was county, sectional, and state champion every year during high school....also lettered in volleyball and basketball.…holds region records for most points (38), rebounds (23) and free throws (14)....made “elite 8” at basketball regional tournament both junior and senior years....named basketball All-County MVP during junior year....was All-State 2nd team in basketball....two-year volleyball MVP....member of National Honor Society.
