The UAB women's track and field team finished up their indoor season this weekend in Houston, Texas at the C-USA Championships. UAB placed eleventh in the conference.

Senior Yolanda Cooper placed second in the 60-meter dash with a time of 7.48, 0.03 seconds behind winner Kerine Black (7.45) of South Florida.

In the high jump, junior Meredith George placed second with a jump of 1.68-meters.
