BIRMINGHAM, Ala. --- UAB's track and field team will have its first competition for outdoor March 15, at the Samford Invitational.

The Blazers will compete against fifteen other teams including Alabama, Birmingham-Southern, Troy State and Jacksonville State. The meet will begin at noon with the women's pole vault and is scheduled for conclusion after the 4X400 meter relay at 6:15 pm.

The Blazers will compete next on March 22, at the Alabama Relays hosted by the University of Alabama.
