BIRMINGHAM, Ala. --- Amanda Hart, one of the top prep sprinters and hurdlers in the state of Georgia, has signed a letter-of-intent to attend UAB, according to an announcement by head coach Ray Stanfield.

Hart, who attends North Cobb High School (Kennesaw, Ga.), currently has the leading time for the 300-meter hurdles. Hart was a state finalist in the 300-meter hurdles and the 400-meter dash for her junior year.
