BIRMINGHAM, Ala. --- UAB's track and field head coach Ray Stanfield has been chosen by the National Youth Sports Corporation (NYSC) to be a guest coach at its Youth Education Through Sports (YES) Clinic on June 14, 2003.

The NYSC, in conjunction with the 2003 NCAA Men's and Women's Outdoor Track and Field Championship, conducts this clinic to allow children the opportunity to meet coaches and student-athletes from NCAA Division I ranks and learn ways to excel both on and off the field. The clinics are completely free and offer the children a way to improve their skills at no cost.

The 2003 clinic will be held at Cal State Sacramento, site of the Division I men's and women's outdoor championship.
