David Good joined the UAB family in 2007 after spending two seasons as a graduate assistant on the Eastern Michigan staff. Good is in charge of the Blazer video program and film exchange. Furthermore, he also helps the coaching staff prepare scouting reports on upcoming opponents and is the UAB Basketball Camp Director, in addition to other duties assigned by the coaches.

During his time at UAB, Good played a big part in one of the biggest turnarounds in program history. He had an important role in helping the Blazers improve eight games in the win column from 2007 (15 wins) to 2008 (23 wins).

While with the Eagles, Good assisted with the day-to-day activities of the Eastern Michigan men's basketball team, including video scouts of upcoming opponents, film exchange and overseeing student managers, among other duties as assigned by the head coach.

Prior to his stint at EMU, Good spent four seasons in the high school ranks. In 2004-05, Good was the assistant varsity coach at Shepherd High School, where he helped the team to a 19-2 overall record and a conference championship.

He was also the head coach of the freshman team and an assistant coach with the varsity squad at Sacred Heart from 2002-04. Good helped lead the squad to a 20-4 record and a regional championship in 2004.

Good has also assisted with numerous basketball camps, including UAB, Marquette, Eastern Michigan and Central Michigan.

Good, who resides in Birmingham, is a member of the National Association of Basketball Coaches.
