Game Time Changed For UAB/Tulane Game On Jan. 13

Jan. 8, 2007

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - The game time for the UAB men's basketball contest at Tulane has been changed. Tip off, originally slated for 7 p.m. CT, has been moved up and is now set for 2 p.m. CT. The reason for the change is due to the New Orleans Saints playoff game against the Philadelphia Eagles, which will kickoff at 7 p.m. CT in the Superdome.

Tulane and UAB will be meeting for the 25th time in school history when the two rivals do battle on the hardwood. The Blazers will look for their first victory in New Orleans since a 76-66 win on Jan. 20, 2001 (lost four straight).

The radio broadcast can be heard on the Blazers ISP Sports Network, beginning with the pre-game show at 1:30 p.m. CT. Birmingham and Huntsville listeners can follow all the action on WYDE 101.1 FM. The broadcast can also be heard on WIQR 1410 AM in Montgomery/Prattville and 98.3 FM WTRB in Ashland/Talladega.
