BIRMINGHAM, Ala. ----- The UAB men's basketball team will play the winner of the Western Michigan/Siena game (Sunday, 7 p.m. EST, Loudonville, N.Y.) on Tuesday night, March 25, NIT officials announced Thursday. If Western Michigan wins, the Broncos will come to Bartow Arena. If the Saints are victorious, the Blazers will travel to Loudonville, N.Y. for the second round contest.

UAB is coming off an 82-80 first round victory over UL Lafayette on Wednesday night. Three Blazers scored in double digits led by Gabe Kennedy's 19 points.

The Blazers, making their eighth NIT appearance, will be playing their next game for the right to go to the final eight of the NIT. UAB has never faced either team in school history.
