UAB Holds Press Conference Prior To Men's Basketball Team's Trip To Sweet 16

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. ----- UAB head coach Mike Anderson and members of the Conference USA co-champion men's basketball team answered questions from members of the national and local media on Tuesday as the Blazers held a press conference at Bartow Arena. UAB (22-9), the ninth-seeded team in the St. Louis regional, will meet the fourth-seeded Kansas Jayhawks (23-8) at 6:10 p.m. (CST) in the round of 16 at the Edward Jones Dome in downtown St. Louis. The Blazers are scheduled to depart from the 13th Street exit of Bartow Arena at 1 p.m. on Wednesday and arrive in St. Louis at approximately 4:30 p.m. UAB's Thursday practice time is set for Noon-12:45 p.m., and the Blazers will meet with members of the media from 1:00-1:30 p.m., at the Edward Jones Dome.
