BIRMINGHAM, Ala. ----- The 2008-09 UAB men's and women's basketball media guides have arrived and orders are now being taken. The media guides are available through the UAB Athletics Media Relations Office in Bartow Arena.

The men's and women's guides contain all the necessary information to get fans ready for the start of the upcoming season, including the team outlooks, bios of the players and the coaching staffs, as well as plenty of historical and records information.

Fans may also stop by the UAB Media Relations Office, located on the ground floor of the Bartow Arena West Tower, to purchase copies of each of the media guides.

Both media guides are priced at $10.00 separately. Fans may purchase both guides for $18.00. The cost for the media guides are $13 each through the mail, which includes shipping and handling fees.

The 2008-09 basketball media guides are now available.

To place an order by mail, fans should send $13 for each guide to: UAB Athletics Media Relations, BRTW West Tower, 1530 3rd Avenue, S., Birmingham, AL 35294-1160.
