NIT Semifinal Showdown: UAB vs. No. 12 Oklahoma At Madison Square Garden

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - The UAB men's basketball team will tip off against the nation's 12th-ranked team Oklahoma at 9 p.m. ET (8 p.m. CT) on Wednesday, Nov. 26 in the semifinal round of the Dick's Sporting Goods NIT Season Tip-Off, NIT officials have announced. The Blazers and Sooners are the second game of the evening at Madison Square Garden in New York City. The first game, slated for 7 p.m., features the Purdue Boilermakers and the Boston College Eagles. Both games on Wednesday will be broadcast on ESPN2. The NIT Season Tip-Off championship game is scheduled for 3:30 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 28, on ESPN2. The consolation game, which is not scheduled for television, will tip at 1:30 p.m. the same day. UAB fans interested in ordering tickets to see the Blazers can call the UAB athletics ticket office at 205-975-8221. Tickets to each day (both games) are $45 per person. However, the ticket office has a limited number and needs to fill the orders quickly, so fans who are interested in going are encouraged to order tickets as soon as possible.
