BIRMINGHAM, Ala. ------- UAB football coaches and players will participate Monday, March 3 in collaboration with Birmingham City Schools as part of ³Read Across America² Day.

Blazers¹ head coach Neil Callaway and his coaching staff, along with nearly 40 players, will be present from 1:00-3:00 p.m. at more than 20 Birmingham City elementary schools to read to the school children.

Coach Callaway, linebacker Kyle Roget and wide receiver Frantrell Forrest, will be at North Roebuck Elementary School from 1-3 p.m.

³This is a great opportunity for our coaches and players to represent UAB, contribute to the community, and make a positive impact with the young kids of our city,² said Callaway.
