LOUISVILLE, Ky.... Lane Knight scored his second goal of the game off an assist by Rumbani Munthali in the 94th minute to lift 10th-ranked UAB (13-3-2, 5-1-2 in Conference USA) past Louisville (11-8-1, 3-4-1 in C-USA) 3-2 and extend the Blazers unbeaten streak to 10 games.

UAB jumped on the board early with Knight scoring off an assist by Mike Garcia in the third minute. The Blazers led 1-0 at the half.

Louisville tied the score on a goal by Shawn Faria off an assist from Stuart Langrish at the 71:53 mark. In the next minute the Cards' Courtenay Commander scored the go ahead goal off an assist from Mason Barber. The Blazers knotted the score at the 79:29 mark off an unassisted goal from Jose Rayo straight up the middle. The match was tied at the end of regulation forcing an overtime.

This was the sixth straight road match to go into overtime for UAB. The Blazers have won all six. UAB has played nine overtime matches this season and are 6-1-2 in extra period games.

The Blazers next travel to St. Louis, Mo. for the Conference USA Tournament Nov. 9-12.
