UAB Closes Spring Season With 3-1 Win In Annual Alumni Game

Three different Blazers score en route to victory

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - The UAB men¹s soccer team closed the 2008 spring season with the annual alumni game at West Campus Field. The Blazers captured a 3-1 victory over former men¹s soccer players to cap off a successful spring campaign.

The UAB goals were scored by Frank Brown, Derek Rios and John Markey. Former captain Houston Smith (1997-2000) scored the lone goal for the alumni team.
