BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - The UAB women's basketball team will round out its three-game road swing at Memphis on Sunday. Tip-off is slated for 2:00 p.m. at the FedEx Forum.

Sunday's contest will mark the 40th meeting between the two programs, and the second meeting this season. Memphis leads the all-time series, 24-15, but the Blazers have won the past five meetings, including a 76-63 win in Birmingham earlier this season (Jan.6 ).

UAB enters the game with an 8-10 overall record and a 4-1 mark in Conference USA that puts them in a tie for second place in the league.

Senior guard/forward Diamond Rogers leads the Blazers in multiple categories, including points, rebounds and assists. Rogers is averaging 17.3 ppg, which leads the league, while also grabbing 8.3 rpg and dishing out 3.4 apg. In conference games only, Rogers is averaging a double-double with 17.8 points and 10.0 boards per outing.

Also getting it done for UAB is senior guard Crystal McFadden with 13.7 ppg overall and 15.2 ppg in league play. A key component to the Blazers' success this season is the sharp-shooting of freshman guard Amanda Peterson, who is scoring 9.1 ppg overall and 13.8 ppg in C-USA.

Memphis goes into Sunday's contest with an overall record of 5-13 that includes a 2-3 mark in Conference USA.

Leading the way for the Lady Tigers are guards Paris Leonard and LaToya Bullard, who average 11.9 ppg and 11.7 ppg, respectively. Ashley Thornton is putting up 10.4 ppg and tallying a team-best 7.3 rpg.
