Women's Golf Signs Jaime Brabb For 2007-08 Season
April 27, 2007 BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - The UAB women's golf team has added another golfer for the 2007-08 season in Jaime Brabb. Brabb, who is a native of Maitland, Fla., has signed a National Letter of Intent to play for the Blazers and head coach Kim Wilcox next year. "We are really excited to have Jaime joining our program next year," said Wilcox. "I think she is going to be a good, consistent player right off the bat for us. She is a hard worker and really has got it together." Brabb comes to UAB from Winter Park High School, where she has been a member of the varsity golf team for four years. She has consistently been a leader for her high school squad, including earning seven top 10 finishes during the 2006-07 season. "Golf runs in Jaime's family," said Wilcox. "I recruited her sister a few years ago and I've always known that she is good. I expect that she will contribute to our team right away in her freshman year."
