Round One Of Lady Indian Classic Postponed Due To Inclement Weather

Blazers to finish round one, play second round on Tuesday

JONESBORO, Ark. - The UAB women's golf team had its first round of the Lady Indian Classic postponed due to inclement weather in the area on Monday. Tuesday will feature the conclusion of round one, followed by a second round of play to finish out the event.

The tournament was originally scheduled for 54 holes, including 36 on the first day. A series of afternoon thunderstorms prevented that from happening, stopping play just after 12:00 p.m. with all of the teams left to complete the opening 18 holes.

The Lady Indian Classic is being hosted by Arkansas State and has a field of 16 teams. Play will resume on Tuesday morning at 8:00 a.m. at the Jonesboro Country Club.
