Blazers Tee-Off at East Carolina Tournament Friday

UAB set to compete in three-day event in Greenville, N.C.

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - The UAB women's golf team will tee-off in the first round of the East Carolina Lady Pirate Invitational on Friday morning. The three-round event will be held over three days, Friday, October 20 thru Sunday, October 22.

The Blazers' last outing was October 1 at the Great Smokies Intercollegiate in Waynesville, N.C., where they finished in a tie for ninth place out of 23 competing teams. Senior Martha Hudson led the Blazers at the Great Smokies with a two-round total of 150, followed by sophomore Alyson Mitchell posting a 151.

The Blazers have taken the past three weeks off of competition and are looking forward to jumping back into it. First-round results will be available on Friday evening.
