MURFREESBORO, Tenn. - The 69th-ranked Middle Tennessee women's tennis team defeated UAB 6-1, winning five singles matches and three doubles matches to take the doubles point.

Senior Sjouke Liem had the lone singles victory for the Blazers, as she topped Michaela Griedling 6-0, 6-4 at the no. 3 spot.

UAB (8-9, 4-1 Conference USA) returns home to the Brook Highland Racquet Club Friday to face No. 41 Alabama at 2 p.m.
